A new generation of grafic cards it’s arrived from Nvidia, and they promis to be revolutionary. They are powered by the new NVIDIA Turing™ GPU architecture and the revolutionary RTX platform, yes no more GTX but RTX… R as Ray Tracing! RTX graphics cards bring together real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence, and programmable shading. Of course the implementation of Ray-tracing technology on this kind of cards seems to be a really huge improvemnt, but are we sure that we are ready to spend tousands of dollars for this new cards? Let’s make some order.
At the moment, if you are a gamer, seems that not so many titles are ready to exploit this technology, but to be honest here we are not gamers. And what about renders addicted?
Well this is the question: Nvidia marketing it’s really powerful, and when they announced and unveiled the new cards we were really amazed, but after few days some rumors gave birth some doubts…. when “old” 1080ti was realeased they impressed because were 79% faster then the previous 980ti, now Nvidia says that 2080ti is 50% faster then 1080ti but this could be not true.
Here you can read more about a strange fact, seems that an insider from Nvidia company revealed that new cards are not so faster then the previous generation… Of course nothing is confirmed and e are all waiting to test having turing drivers.
Anyay we are really courious to test ray tracing power!
