Hi all guys, finally I can show you something about Vray 3.4, during the past few months I had the opportunity to play around with some different versions of Vray.
Now it’s been released and i’m very happy and I think that finally Vray will come back on my daily workflow. Many many news are present and some of them are really important to push this render engine to the top, near to Octane and Arnold.
That is possible thanks to the Caosgroup’s develop and of course thanks to Stefan Laub and his fantastic team.
Let’s talk about it: at the very first time i opened everything Seems to me pretty different, well-ordered, much more clear, but the most important things were into the new core. I still don’t have decided what are the most important features present inVray 3.4 probably it depends by what kind of scope do you have in the 3D world.
I’m, as you can imagine, very happy for the new V-Ray shaders and of course for the new progressive anti-aliasing, and for the RT technology, but I have to confess That The New VFB window it’s veeery funny and useful with tons of features inside. But most in general it is very very fast, thanks to the new Embree algorithm and also to the powerfull denoiser, that are able to give a big boost to the rendering.
I could talk about Vray for hours but probably the best thing is start recording some videos to explain and show you how amazing responsive and fast is the engine.
